Memorial fund in honor and celebration of the life of Linda (Curtis) Cuneo

Joining Shalam Ministries multiplies the joy of your gift by honoring our First Responders with the gift of rest at Hero's Rest, the first ever retreat center in the USA to focus on meeting the unique and critical needs of our first responders, active and military veterans and their families.
Linda's Family has set $5000 as the goal for this memorial fund to support launching Hero's Rest by permanently naming a bench in Linda's Honor. This bench will provide our nations first responders, active and veteran military and their families a serene and beautiful place to enjoying God's creation and connect with each other at Hero's Rest in the Missouri Ozarks.
Rona, Linda's daughter, told me "My mother always believed in doing ministry and loved providing rest to the weary... You have no idea but benches were very important to my mom. My brother once gave her a beautiful bench for her garden. She loved to go and walk through gardens or nature preserves and sit on benches to just be with people. My mom was my hero and her grandson is in the military. Also several of her grand nieces are nurses as was her sister. We are striving to raise $5000 in order to have one of the retreat benches named after her. If we are blessed to raise more we will have a garden named after her."
